Individual Projects

As part of an individual class project, I created a collection of short films that explored both traditional 2D animation and experimental collage techniques. Using Clip Studio Paint for frame-by-frame drawing, I developed sequences that emphasized timing, expressive gesture, and motion principles. These animated pieces were then edited and enhanced in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, allowing for polished shorts that combined hand-drawn animation with surreal, layered collage imagery.

Responsibilities & Focus Areas

2D Animation – Produced hand-drawn sequences in Clip Studio Paint, focusing on movement, arcs, and character expression.

Collage Animation – Designed cut-out and layered animations that blended photographic and illustrated elements into mixed-media storytelling.

Film Editing & Post-Production – Assembled shorts in Adobe Premiere and applied compositing, transitions, and experimental effects in After Effects.

Design & Composition – Explored rhythm, contrast, and visual texture to push the narrative potential of unconventional animation techniques.

This project strengthened my ability to merge traditional animation principles with digital post-production workflows, resulting in a series of short films that balanced experimentation with technical refinement.
