Artist Statement

I've always had a love for art, from sketching horses on the family farm to discovering the power of visual storytelling through films like Avatar (2009). That film opened my eyes to how art and technology could merge to create something truly awe-inspiring, sparking a desire to do the same.

I began college at Texas A&M as an engineering major, but it wasn’t until I switched to Visualization that I truly felt at home. I’ve since fallen in love with 3D environment art, using tools like Maya, Unreal Engine 5, Houdini, and Substance 3D Painter to bring immersive worlds to life.

In my most recent group project, Morte D’Arty, I contributed to modeling, surfacing, set dressing, effects, and animated credits. This experience solidified my passion for crafting spaces that tell stories. Environments have the power to evoke emotion and invite discovery. That’s what I strive to achieve through my work: to inspire, engage, and spark wonder just like Avatar did for me.
